For Lucy's in-home newborn session, there were many assistants on hand! Lucy was surrounded by her 3 very helpful older siblings. She was of course a perfect sleeper for us, only walking up a few times to take a peek and eat. Please enjoy a few photos from the sweet baby girl's session.
Little Miss Scarlett was definitely the perfect gift for this family! The only girl surrounded by her FIVE loving brothers! To say that Mom was excited to finally get her daughter would be an understatement. In her short time in this world so far, Scarlett has been spoiled with everything girly.

This sweet little guy wanted nothing to do with a sleepy session when I arrived. After a feeding (and some welcomed snuggling), Jack was snoozing away while Mom and I ooohed over his precious face! He was such a trooper though all of our costume, hat, prop and location changes.

I have been very thankful for fairly mid winter weather which has allowed for some great outdoor portrait sessions from holiday cards to extended family gatherings.
Now that the snow is melting as we seem to be getting a glimpse of spring temps, I hope to be back behind the lens again!

To celebrate Lija's first birthday, Mom and Dad decided to have a family portrait session at one of my favorite locations on the South Shore. They arrived with supplies such as bubbles and a custom bench made by Dad, both of which made Lija very happy. I can't get over her sweet smile and adorable curiosity. Congrats to this loving family on making it through the first year!
Nina is an incredibly bright and stunningly beautiful young woman. She is applying to a handful of some of the prestigious schools located in Boston (and Massachusetts). I have no doubt that she will not only achieve but exceed all of her goals. I had a wonderful time wandering along the waterfront and within the North End, capturing Nina's portraits, catching up with her mom and hearing about her experiences growing up in the area.
Stephanie + Brandon were married on a spectacular fall day at the Kelley Chapel located behind the Old Yarmouth Inn on Cape Cod. The chapel provided the perfect setting for their intimate celebration with close family and friends. After exchanging vows we took advantage of the chapel grounds for portraits with guests. A short walk away, the party continued in a bright private room lined with windows. Once the flower girl opened the dance floor, family and friends dined and danced the night away. Congratulations to Stephanie + Brandon! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

This post features a portion of the mini sessions I offered to a local neighborhood. These families live in a new development that was built around cranberry bogs. This year I chose to explore the many options around those bogs to create a beautiful fall backdrop.
I had the pleasure of working with so many awesome families this fall. From mini sessions on a cranberry bog to portrait sessions at a private farm (complete with goats!!) I was able to capture some adorable kids and the parents who love them.

This past summer, Jon proposed to Tiffany at their favorite beach, The Spit. They selected the same location for their engagement session. One especially warm October afternoon, we trekked out over the boardwalk and through the marsh grass to the beach. They will be married next June, overlooking the The Spit.
Erica + David were married on August 7th at The Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis. They had perfect weather for their seaside ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. Their floral arrangements were created by Flowers by Mary in Orleans and the boutonnieres were purchased on Etsy.

It seemed fitting that Tom suggested Powder Point Bridge and Duxbury Beach for their engagement session after hearing how he met Stefanie. Tom grew up in Massachusetts and Powder Point Bridge was a favorite fishing spot for him and his dad. While living in Colorado, Stefanie and Tom found each other through a dating website with ties to the ocean and fishing (which shall remain nameless since they refuse to pay for the wedding!) ; )
Stefanie and Tom are one of those couples that obviously have a blast together and I can't wait for their July 2016 wedding at Ocean Edge Resort!
